About this deal

All those people in movies, films, and on social media who look so together are usually not telling the truth! I was completely gripped in this story, told from various viewpoints, about a mother's worst nightmare.

Worse, he or she shoves their real self so deep inside that they grow up as adults who lack boundaries or have identity issues. But as her trial date looms, and as she attempts to sober up, the afternoon in question begins to come back to her in bits and pieces and she realises that she needs to start asking questions of her own instead of remaining a passive victim. Gripped from the very first page, you are left guessing what has actually happened for quite a while and when you do, you are so torn between your emotions and working out which characters you like and which you really don’t like and who can be trusted. And the biggest bit that blagged my head is that Annabelle suddenly became best mates over night with Thea after finding out the day before that Thea had slept with her husband and had a secret child with him. And now that I'm aware of the speed of the story, that will make a difference second time round I think.Did you actually dive deep and process the old emotions around your challenging past in the safe and supportive environment such as a therapy room? The multiple points of view help the reader understand more about individual characters and their relationships, giving an insight into their lives and possible motivations. So Rupert had an affair with Flora and Mia, Greg had an affair with Thea and attempted to with Flora.

This compelling thriller is a story about three women from different social standings, Thea,Annabelle and Thea's ex personal assistant Flora who is now working for Annabelle. This novel moves at a steady pace, full of twists and turns, totally gripping the reader for the suspense ride from beginning to end. It will play with your emotions and mess with your mind as you try to figure everything out and believe me when I tell you that your mind will be totally blown! I hate it, good thing my narcissist knows how to help me do it, or I would be a nervous wreck all the time. i don’t say thank you much cause i believe its something we all should help and do, but i am teaching myself to although it makes uncomfortable cause i take it serious and negative again.

A few months ago I was disowned by both parents (real mom and step dad) for wanting to have no religion. my sister can’t stand too emotional people i understand her cause i know her way thinking, and we have different characters. I did just want one more chapter from a specific character to finalise everything, but I’m a-okay because the epilogue made up for that. I liked the alternative chapters and found each characters point of view easy to follow in this format.I just really can't say much cause I don't wanna spoil the story, but I thirly injoyed the author's writing stile and definitely will be reading more of her works. They can offer guidance by helping you identify and address the causes of guilt, explore effective coping skills, and develop greater self-compassion. Any tale involving the death of a child will undoubtedly be a heart squeezer whether the fatality was accidental or something more heinous, and I was back and forth in my theories of which type of act resulted in the death of eight-month-old Zander. I had read some cosy mysteries previously from Jackie Kabler, and enjoyed them, but this has really stepped up a gear and is a full blown psychological drama - it crept under my skin, and may continue to cling onto me for a while after finishing it.
