About this deal

I'd say about 500 feet is the range where you start hearing a little scratching to the voice with it getting worse as you get farther away until you lose connection. There were a lot of cheaper options, however most have drawbacks such as complexity in setup, short battery life, noisy comms while moving, dropped connections and cheap or flimsy mounting and hardware. One, I don't like that when I'm in intercom mode, Bluetooth to my phone is disconnected so I can't hear Google maps directions. Next, the microphones on the boom are directional, it say's outside on it and you better install it with the words away from you, otherwise you will get very low volume and a lot of background wind noise. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag.

I am still impressed with the ease of use but will be contacting them about the wind noise and possibly raising the volume. Then, one either of the 2 bridges, you press the intercom button and the unit will say, "scanning" and then "connected". Next, you pair one end unit to a bridge unit on one motorcycle, and repeat for the second motorcycle. The include adhesive backed velcro pads can be affixed inside the helmet to attach the speakers securely in place within the speaker pockets of most helmets. If you get stuck or confused, you can press the vol - and + and easily reset the connections on a unit to start fresh.Overall, we are all still amazed how quiet the system is, how clear the voice is and how it just works all day long. Yesterday we were set to go for an all day ride to get some pie, have a burger and let the girls do a little wine tasting in backcountry Ramona. It takes a while to get used to limiting the loudness of your voice to normal conversation levels while doing something as loud and exhilarating as riding a motorcycle. I will be receiving a pair of Lexin B4FM units in the very near future and wondered if anyone had any experience of these units? New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging .

Same approach was used for my wife's modular MTS helmet, although in this case the boom mic was used. Adjust the direction of the microphone so that the triangular mark on the microphone is pointing towards your mouth. Just peel off the protective backing sheet of the 3M tape bracket and adhere the bracket onto the helmet. Now, if you are one of those brave souls that hit the roads with a half-head, à la bucket-head style helmet, you'll be out of luck with this headset, unless you rig-jig something up with the aid of a few zip-ties. In the city we've seen it fade out fast just going around the block with houses in the way, but on the open road ~1 km or so apart is usually no issue. After fiddling around with the instructions, I finally was able to get all 4 working, seemed like a small miracle though and I was not entirely sure I could do it again. I spent a week on the road riding through flash floods, tropical storms, extreme heat, baking sun, hungry swamp mosquito swarms, cell-tower dead zones, and raging gale winds.
